About This Journal:

This is my Livejournal writing journal. I began this basically because I have too much I want to say. Actually, I just needed a separate place for myself to post my writing. Hopefully having this place to share my poetry, prose, story or playwright excerpts, letters, fanfiction and even essays written for my classes will help me to grow as a writer. Perhaps it will even give me a better confidence to share what I’ve written with others.

If you want me to add you to this list don’t do it as a duty or because you want to see if I wrote anything about you (yea, I know how some of you think :P) do it because you are genuinely interested in what I have to express. Don’t add this name if you want more people on your friend’s list or you want to know about my life, add me because you are the type of person that can take a step back and give me honest feedback on the things I have written and help by offering me different ideas or your own inspirations. Everyone I add I wish to know why you want me to add you. I will add anyone to _shardsofme_ who just wants to get to know me a little better or just stumbled into my journal randomly and thinks that I am a cool person or that we might have something in common. That’s not what I created this journal for. If you don’t want my ramblings filling up your friend’s page then you might not want to add me either. I tend to go on and on a lot. Don't worry, I'll use a cut if it's over 10 pages long :P...kidding, kidding

I may be a bit selective in who I add to this friend’s list only because it takes a great deal of trust to post something you put your heart and soul into on the Internet.

Thank you for coming to my writing journal and I hope that you find me interesting or unique enough to possibly have a little bit of talent. I have a lot of room to grow and I'm hoping this and all of you can help me with that. Please comment to be added. I appreciate all feedback. Negative or positive. Just don’t be too insulting (my poor ego may never recover :P) and if you can help yourself please don’t go on and on about a grammar or spelling mistake either. I'd appreciate also if anyone who leaves comments leaves them based on the content of the writing and not as a way of trying to figure out what is going on with me, etc (please don't comment and ask me something along of the lines of...who did you write that for?). Mainly because not everything I write about is completely reflective of my own life and there's nothing I hate more than fights over what i meant when i wrote this and that.

Yea, like I said, I tend to ramble.
